modeling
A modeling process can be defined as a theorical design which tries to describe and explain the functioning of a certain system through the representation of one or more real world phenomenons, and eventualy to predict new phenomenons or proprerties, considering a specific group of laws taking place. The intent is to understand relations between different parts of a system so that we can further comprise it as a whole. Modeling helps us telling if a particular approach if suitable or not to deal with a system, and results obtained from a particular experiment can also be applied in other similar systems.

Since 2002 CRIA began to work with environmental data and modeling procedures using mainly GARP (genetic algorithym). Our aim is to acquire know-how, to gather environmental information and biological information about species to facilitate its use by others.
