The Universidade de Mogi das Cruzes includes the Herbarium Mogiense (HUMC) created in 2,003. The collections
included vascular plants (angiosperms and pteridophytes) represented by over 7,000 specimens as a result of researches of
undergraduate (Biology) and graduated students (Biotechnology - Molecular Taxonomy). The aim of the collection is to offer material
for botanical studies for scientific community and for people interested in Alto do Rio Tietê flora as well. We offer services like
loan, exchange and identifications of botanical specimens. The Herbarium Mogiense is linked to the Núcleo de Ciências Ambientais
(NCA).
